Next Step Nursing are seeking Adult RGN’s for work in a specialist neurological hospital.

The hospital is an independent medical charity that provides rehabilitation and long term care to people with complex neurological disabilities.

They provide several services including, rehabilitation, disability management and Respite.

These are for:

• adults (over 18) with profound brain injuries including vegetative and minimal awareness status, and brainstem injuries;
• adults with brain injuries, physical disabilities and behavioural problems;
• adults with brain injuries who have ‘higher’ cognitive problems and who require community reintegration.

The hospital also provide longer term care for people with high dependency needs including 24-hour ventilation, longer term neurological and behavioural problems, and middle and late stage Huntington’s Disease..They have a total of 263 places (both assessment/rehab and long-term) and consequently a total staff group of approximately 700, of whom 200 are administrative. The full range of professional specialists are employed, under the control of the clinical director.
